All in time man

Now, first off i want to start of by saying the first songs i made were god awful. I mean bad lol. My advice is, when you're still new to your DaW and music production in general. Make a song, finish it, and start a new one. Lots and LOTS of practice. I've made over 80 songs over the last 3 years, and am only now starting to scratch the surface.

So stick with it man, don't ever ever give up! It's not something that goes from one day to the next.

Oh yea, don't waste any money on nexus ever. Zebra2 and Sylenth1 are the way to go. Make your own synths and have much much more control. I do have to say tho, Nexus is great for starting out to understand music production and just get used to your DaW. Either way, i wouldn't waste my own money on it. *cough* *hint*. lol

Keep it up, and like i said before DO NOT give up. EVER! Music takes LOTs and LOTs of time to grasp.

I try not to waste my money on any plugins, don't worry :)

I've actually tried to give up before, but then a week later I got some idea and I think that's how Photosensitivity was created. Really, I'm going to continue (no matter how much people will hate me for my work :P )

Thanks for your advice though!! It's really inspiring to see something like this, especially from somebody whose music is ages ahead of mine!

It's decent

I see your getting better with the kicks =). I'm not the biggest fan of Dubstyle personally. But, you did a pretty good job. I liked the sliced vocals, sounded cool. As I said, i can't really judge it because it's not my cup of tea.

Overall quality is good, mastering is good, and you put it together quite well!

Keep it up

Well I hope that just because it isn't your cup of tea that it doesn't stop you from listening to it. I love Dubstyle. Almost as much as I love Hardstyle (Which is almost as much as I love my girlfriend)!

There are few things in this world that get me as excited as music, so I'm happy to see that some people who don't enjoy the style are at least enjoying the production.

Those sliced vocals are the best hook ever. You start listening, and you wanna see where I'll go with it.

Anyway, thanks for listening and letting me know how I did. :D

Not bad

I have to say, I've just recently started to get into producing hardstyle. And quite honestly it's been the hardest genre to get an understanding for yet! And well, your defiantly doing a pretty good job so far.

Keep it up, because the more you make the better you get. And i have to agree with the other reviews you kinda dragged the intro a bit too long. It's not bad, but you could easily cut it in half and still have a long flowing track. Also, the transition from the intro to the middle (Mid Intro) was a little sloppy.

The melody isn't too bad, but I feel like it's kinda repeating too much without any variation. It's still sounds pretty good. Now the kick, you've got a great Tok (punch) going and the sub hits pretty hard. The only thing i could complain about is that it needs more distortion on the tail. You can't hear the "Growl" per say of the tail.

Like i said in the beginning of this review, hardstyle is not an easy genre to get a feel for. Keep working on it, and you're gonna be making amazing songs in no time. All the ideas you've put into this song are very good. It's just a matter of practice from here!

Keep it up! And, stick with it! Because hardstyle is the best genre of music on this planet!

You've got me flabberghasted myself, bro. I didn't think you'd notice me. I agree 150, 000, 000% That there is no music on this earth like Hardstyle. When its done right, you feel it.

My next track is going to be a Dubstyle track (Half step, like in a dubstep song, with hardstyle kicks, and best of all (in my opinion) no wobbles! They give me a headache.) I'm doing The Song of Time at my buddy Tiger's request and I gotta say, I'm loving the style so far. Its got a laidback powerful feel to it.

I like to focus on my Punches (Toks) because thats where you feel it. Thats where the song is born. So I will spend days and days getting the layers right, and then fixing as needed.

Anywho, I am glad you liked it. Whore me out to your friends, so they see it and I can improve.

O.o

Your coming along great man. Keep it up! Your music sounds more professional every time hehe.

I have to say, your mixdown is always so amazing, your mastering is top notch. And all the right sounds come outl. Your doing great, keep it up, and don't ever give up.

Thanks, bro! ;D
means a lot.

Getting better man!

Well, i think it's pretty good. But, I'm gonna try and explain how i make my Hardstyle kicks, yours is getting there but... Anywho A Hardstyle (nu-style Kick) has 3 parts to it, The Tok, the Tail, and the Sub.

1. The tok is the initial part you hear, the very first second, the Punch you could say.
2. The tail is the distorted portion of the kick, usually i take most of the bass out of the tail.
3. And then last, the sub part of the kick, probably the part you have down the best!
Either way, I hope that helps a little bit. Other then the kick, I think you did a great job with this song... The mastering is amazing, the hardstyle synths / sounds are getting really good. And your intros are always top notch! And btw, my kicks aren't very good either... I'm just trying to fill you in on what I've learned in my time of research. Most people say that making a good nu-style kick is near impossible without "Virus". Virus is reallllly expensive.....

Overall Great Job!
keep up the good work!

Good Job!

It has a good melody, and All the ideas are amazing. The only thing that concerns me is the synths. Also, If you distort your hardstyle kick more, I think it'll sound 10x better. And the lead synth feels too weak. I don't know what DAW your using but once you get the synths down, you're gonna be really damn good. But either way, it doesn't sound bad just those small things that i could critique on. Keep up the good work man.

Really Cool

I gotta say, this song kept me listening the entire time. I really, really LOVE the synths you used. That base is... Awesome! Also, at 3:46 that synth is bad ass. I would love to have heard more of it hehe =).

Overall Great job, keep it up.
