Improvement

You're defiantly improving. And as far as the rendering problem, PM me and maybe I can help you. Either way, This is not my flavor of music but it's not awful, just not something I'd listen to more then once hah. Keep working on improving, every song counts.

Thanks for the inspiring words, man. I honestly enjoyed making this, even though I didn't get very creative. I'm really glad you took the time to listen to it, even if it was out of your genre choices.

Really, the only problem I have with this song is the kick in the beginning throwing itself all around... That and the rendering. It hasn't happened since though, but I'll be sure to PM you if it does; I'm sure you'd show me what I was doing wrong :P

Sounds more like Pop Music

To me it sounds like pop not house. But, not bad quality wise. Your mixdown is pretty good. Not bad, but not my cup of tea.

Awesome work

I have to say, I'm not much of a dubstep fan. But, you've done a wonderful job with this. Mixdown is good and the whole song is really cool.

Keep it up

I like it

Really creative work man. The mixdown may not be amazing, but you did a wonderful job overall. It's something different, and different is good. =)

All in time man

Now, first off i want to start of by saying the first songs i made were god awful. I mean bad lol. My advice is, when you're still new to your DaW and music production in general. Make a song, finish it, and start a new one. Lots and LOTS of practice. I've made over 80 songs over the last 3 years, and am only now starting to scratch the surface.

So stick with it man, don't ever ever give up! It's not something that goes from one day to the next.

Oh yea, don't waste any money on nexus ever. Zebra2 and Sylenth1 are the way to go. Make your own synths and have much much more control. I do have to say tho, Nexus is great for starting out to understand music production and just get used to your DaW. Either way, i wouldn't waste my own money on it. *cough* *hint*. lol

Keep it up, and like i said before DO NOT give up. EVER! Music takes LOTs and LOTs of time to grasp.

I try not to waste my money on any plugins, don't worry :)

I've actually tried to give up before, but then a week later I got some idea and I think that's how Photosensitivity was created. Really, I'm going to continue (no matter how much people will hate me for my work :P )

Thanks for your advice though!! It's really inspiring to see something like this, especially from somebody whose music is ages ahead of mine!

Cool

I usually don't really like Drum N Bass all too much. But I enjoyed this song. Nice work, keep it up. =)

It's decent

I see your getting better with the kicks =). I'm not the biggest fan of Dubstyle personally. But, you did a pretty good job. I liked the sliced vocals, sounded cool. As I said, i can't really judge it because it's not my cup of tea.

Overall quality is good, mastering is good, and you put it together quite well!

Keep it up

Well I hope that just because it isn't your cup of tea that it doesn't stop you from listening to it. I love Dubstyle. Almost as much as I love Hardstyle (Which is almost as much as I love my girlfriend)!

There are few things in this world that get me as excited as music, so I'm happy to see that some people who don't enjoy the style are at least enjoying the production.

Those sliced vocals are the best hook ever. You start listening, and you wanna see where I'll go with it.

Anyway, thanks for listening and letting me know how I did. :D

Great ideas

I really like what you did with everything in this song. But. i really dis-like the quality. You need to work on the mastering! Also, the first couple notes of the melody sound A LOT like headhunterz. Overall, not too bad. Keep with it!

Really glad to have found another hardstyle producer on newgrounds! =), let's make them make a hardstyle genre on here!!! Lol.

Not bad

I have to say, I've just recently started to get into producing hardstyle. And quite honestly it's been the hardest genre to get an understanding for yet! And well, your defiantly doing a pretty good job so far.

Keep it up, because the more you make the better you get. And i have to agree with the other reviews you kinda dragged the intro a bit too long. It's not bad, but you could easily cut it in half and still have a long flowing track. Also, the transition from the intro to the middle (Mid Intro) was a little sloppy.

The melody isn't too bad, but I feel like it's kinda repeating too much without any variation. It's still sounds pretty good. Now the kick, you've got a great Tok (punch) going and the sub hits pretty hard. The only thing i could complain about is that it needs more distortion on the tail. You can't hear the "Growl" per say of the tail.

Like i said in the beginning of this review, hardstyle is not an easy genre to get a feel for. Keep working on it, and you're gonna be making amazing songs in no time. All the ideas you've put into this song are very good. It's just a matter of practice from here!

Keep it up! And, stick with it! Because hardstyle is the best genre of music on this planet!

Tehehe

You've got me flabberghasted myself, bro. I didn't think you'd notice me. I agree 150, 000, 000% That there is no music on this earth like Hardstyle. When its done right, you feel it.

My next track is going to be a Dubstyle track (Half step, like in a dubstep song, with hardstyle kicks, and best of all (in my opinion) no wobbles! They give me a headache.) I'm doing The Song of Time at my buddy Tiger's request and I gotta say, I'm loving the style so far. Its got a laidback powerful feel to it.

I like to focus on my Punches (Toks) because thats where you feel it. Thats where the song is born. So I will spend days and days getting the layers right, and then fixing as needed.

Anywho, I am glad you liked it. Whore me out to your friends, so they see it and I can improve.

Hey, not sure what to do with my life. But I really love making music.
